Even since I was a kid I always knew I had a passion for both business and helping people. For me, real estate was the perfect fit. I’m originally from Peabody, MA where I am a graduate of Peabody High School and the University of New Hampshire. I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit. When I was 15 I started a very successful DJ company which I ran for 14 years before ultimately retiring to focus solely on real estate. Over the years I’ve performed at hundreds of weddings, proms, birthdays, etc. I’ve been fortunate enough to translate my knowledge of running a business into helping my clients.
My real estate career happened totally by accident, I was only supposed to be here for a summer. Well, 15+ years later and I’ve never looked back! In my free time I enjoy spending time with my wife and children, cheering on the Celtics, entertaining for friends and family, attending concerts, traveling, and working on home improvement projects. And, as a native Bostonian, naturally “I run on Dunkin”!
Ultimately I love helping people find and secure their dreams, whether that be their first apartment, a condo in the city, or even an investment property. I am a stickler for details, and will educate you every step of the transaction. I will meet deadlines, I will answer your calls, and I will return your emails (yes, really!). If you hire me to manage your property I will treat it as if it’s my own home, and I will manage your funds as if it were my own money. I am completely transparent in all my dealings, and I look forward to meeting you and building a trustworthy relationship!
"I heard about Justin through a friend. Immediately I got good vibes from him. On our 1st meeting he went through the house and took pictures of what needed to be repaired in the house so that I could sell it for top dollar. I took his advice and it worked. The house sold $30,000 over the asking price in 3 days. After the house went under agreement Justin was there for every inspection that needed to be done. I do believe he went above the call of duty to make this transition as painless for me and the prospective buyers as he could. I throughly enjoyed working with him."

"I recently worked with Justin at A&S to find my first apartment. My roommates and I were looking in late July to move in on September 1, so there was a time crunch. An added challenge was that we were only in Boston for about 3 days.
I submitted an inquiry on their website, and Justin responded promptly. It wasn't a problem when I dropped in the next day after not responding to the email (my bad!). He was able to show us one apartment that day and two the next day. Justin was friendly, knowledgable, and easy to work with.
Given the time crunch and late looking, Justin was able to show us three apartments, of which we really liked one. I am going with 4 stars because he didn't show us the apartment that we eventually went with. But I will go back to Justin when I move again and have more time to search."
"The guys at A&S really go above and beyond, and work hard to find you exactly what you want. They're not pushy, and won't try to harangue and pressure you into apartments that are above your price range or our of your comfort zone just to clear their listings.
I've worked with Jim, Justin, and Joel for the last year, and all three are extremely friendly and very service-driven, striving to keep their clients happy. They're quick to notify you and keep you updated about any problems and work as fast as they can to solve them (e.g. - the Back Bay Power Outage in early 2012 or a building's busted water heater).

"I had the pleasure of renting through A&S Realty from 2012-2014. I have only wonderful things to say about the property, the management, and my overall experience in working with the team. I dealt with Justin for the rental process and he made everything seamless, easy, and convenient. Joel was a fantastic to work with and was always quick to respond to any issues or questions. I always felt "taken care of" while living in one of their properties and always felt like they took great pride in the work they do.
I rented an apartment on Bolyston Street, close to the Marathon finish line, and was witness to the attacks on the event in 2013. I have to commend the A&S team for their efforts in dealing with all parties involved during such a horrific time. Residents were evacuated immediately and not allowed to return for about 10 days. Even though information was limited, the A&S team did a great job maintaining constant communication. It was a challenging time for everyone, and I appreciated the team making extra efforts to keep residents and business owners a priority.
I was sad to leave my apartment, but mostly I was sad to leave such a great team. It's rare to find this kind of customer service, friendliness, honesty, and strong management. I am always quick to refer A&S to anyone interested in Boston area properties."
